Room 8 Studio jumped into the development of an amazing Junk City map in the middle of development.
Our team took part in modeling, UV unwrapping and integration into the engine, and an initial set dressing pass near assets (Using the provided kit by the Blizzard team).
Assets were buildings surrounding the Residential area, part of ground streets in between locations, and container props. This was done using the provided by Blizzard modeling parts kit, materials and textures. The team also took part in the initial set dressing for the area near.
The production stage was done thanks to the technical and design supervision of Phil Wang as Environment Art lead, Daniel McGowan as Environment Art Lead and Art Direction of Peter C Lee.
